All About Fifth Grade

Welcome to Fifth Grade at Middle Road Elementary!

Our fifth grade team is thrilled to welcome your child to an exciting and meaningful school year. As the final chapter of elementary school, fifth grade is a special time filled with growth, learning, and lasting memories.

Throughout the year, students will be encouraged to think critically, work collaboratively, and take on new challenges as they prepare for the Reading, Math, and Science SOL assessments in the spring. Our goal is to support each child’s academic progress while also nurturing their confidence and independence.

We’re committed to creating a classroom experience that is hands-on, engaging, and personalized to meet the needs of every learner. Most importantly, we value our partnership with families and believe that working together is the key to student success.
